Indoor Cannabis Cultivators
Indoor air quality issues for cannabis growers differ from those of most commercial facilities. Growers have to face decisions such as positive or negative air pressure due to odor leakage, CO2 levels, contaminant infiltration and heat buildup from grow lamps. These factors make indoor air quality for cannabis cultivators one of the most difficult challenges they face and likely they are never educated on the proper techniques to help mitigate them. Colorado Air Filter has worked with Cannabis cultivators for over 10 years and understand the numerous issues cultivators face and can educate them on the proper products for their specific facility. Air filters will have to be upgraded to MERV 13, UVGI (ultraviolet germicidal irradiation) needs to be used for micro-organism control such as powdery mildew, gray mold and botrytis and odor control mechanisms such as carbon filters are recommended when odor control is required or necessary.
